BlackBerry is working on a self-destructing phone for Boeing, according to Recode.net. The phone which is named Boeing Black was originally due out in 2012, was mentioned in the BlackBerry Earnings conference call by BlackBerry CEO John Chen.
The phone supposedly consists of dual SIM cards, an expandable back panel for biometric scanners and satellite transceivers. In what is probably the most impressive feature is the phone covering which will self-erase the phone's data if any attempt to disassemble the phone is attempted. The Boeing Black phone would be Android based and run on BES12.
What do you think of this concept? Is this another step in the right direction for BlackBerry? Let us know in the comments below.
