When rumors and leaks start ramping up for a unreleased device, it's a sure sign of a upcoming release. Earlier this month, Evan Blass, known by most as @evleaks
, tweeted out that Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon would be releasing the BlackBerry 'Venice' slider in November.
As you can see from the renders above, the device will have a Android Lollipop influence, ChromeCast capabilities as well as Google Play Store. As these are likely carrier renders, it is more likely that we'll see the slider launch with Android Marshmallow.
This would be a milestone for BlackBerry in their carrier relations, as Sprint hasn't carried a BlackBerry device since the Q10 in 2013.
It is rumored that some formal announcements regarding the BlackBerry Venice slider will happen next Thursday (Sept 3rd) at IFA Berlin, but a date closer to the end of September would fit more in line with BlackBerry's flagship offerings.
