• BlackBerry Slider "Venice" Specs And More

Barring a few standouts of the low end spec tech world, BlackBerry has long given way to only high quality handsets. They make solid, good feeling devices. The kind that scare the floor rather than the other way around. The BlackBerry "Venice" (read slider) which looks lo be released around late 3rd quarter this year seems to be on par with those high end devices.

    Here's what we know:
Nothing for sure...other than it's called "Venice" *shrugs*

Here's what we THINK we know:

    • 5.4-inch Quad-HD display
    • 18 MP rear-camera
    • 5 MP front-camera
    • 1.8 GHz Hexa-core (Snapdragon 808 chipset) 64-bit
    • 3 GB RAM

    Here's what we're afraid of:
It runs Android but comes with the first round of Hub integration.

Renders have popped up of the device's camera which lead us to believe the 18 MP rear camera spec is true. We also have seen the background images hosting 1440×2560 resolution putting it on par with that quad-HD display spec too. Those renders give us a glimpse of how the Hub could look and that Chromecast could also be coming which likely means it will run Android or possible some other newly created Android runtime which BlackBerry 10 already runs a version of now.

Just like everything released early without actually having the device in hand it's all speculation so saddle up to that table and grab your favorite shaker of salt for all of this info. Time will tell.

The files size is limited to 250KB and all my photos are more than that. How can I reduce them to send in for the identification section of the Forum?
