BlackBerryOS.com - BlackBerry Rumors for 2011
  • BlackBerry Rumors for 2011

So 2011 is right around the corner and I am curious to see what RIM has in store for us. I'm talking multi-core processors people, which RIM has admitted they will eventually go to due to the heat & power savings in the newer builds.

Rim has also verified, just a few days ago, that the OS from their tablet will arrive on the newer BlackBerry smart phones once they introduce the dual-core processors into them. We can only cross our fingers and toes that we will see that in the coming year.

The Astonishing Tribe (TAT), is a company that has some impressive technology. They specialize in designing user interfaces (UI) for smart phones and embedded systems. Their work can be found in over 450 million devices, and in the concept video below, it shows off the 3D user interface. Some have speculated that this was the reason that RIM has acquired them. Check out the concept video after the jump.

We are still left to wonder what the future holds at this point. We can continue to dream and speculate what is in store for us...the addicts!
