This past Friday, we let you guys know that Selfridges in the U.K. would be the first store to have the BlackBerry Q10 in stock. Apparently, the available stock wasn't enough to last more than 90 minutes.
“The BlackBerry Q10 has been, without a doubt, the most highly anticipated smartphone we have ever sold and is already our most successful,” said Julian Slim, head of home and leisure with Selfridges.
According to sources at Selfridges, the BlackBerry Q10 sold out in less than an hour and a half, prompting them to have to call in the reserves earlier than expected. The next question obviously becomes, how many Q10s did they have in stock? The answer: 2000. That's pretty impressive, even so for a device that's considered to have BlackBerry's bread and butter: the QWERTY keyboard.
We want to know, were you one of the lucky ones to get a Q10 in the U.K. already? Let us know below in the comments!
