Last night, one of the webmasters for ShopBlackBerry accidentally put the BlackBerry Priv pre-order page live to the interwebs. While the "Pre-Order now" button wasn't enabled, we were able to discover the cost of $750 USD unlocked for Americans and $949 CAD for Canadians, with an expected ship date of November 16 after pre-orders begin.
Shortly after the pages went live, they were mysteriously removed by BlackBerry. We've reached out to our contacts, and they've advise us that the pre-order page should properly go live on October 23rd (Friday).
The unlocked price seems a bit elevated for Canadians, as Rogers stated yesterday that they'd carry the Priv for $799 CAD unlocked. Hopefully the pricing we seen on ShopBlackBerry were temporary placeholders.
