It wasn't too long ago that the PlayBook WiFi version received the official OS 2.1 update. Oct 3rd to be precise. Now, Mobile Syrup is reporting that users are now able to upgrade their 4G LTE PlayBooks to the new OS 2.1.0.1088. It's rolling out folks. Which means if you haven't seen it push to your device yet, then go to "Options"... "Software Updates"... and select "Check for Updates."
