Now that the BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.1 Beta has been released unto the developer community and installed on tablets, RIM is making good by updating and releasing the BlackBerry Native SDK v2.1 Beta. This will allow devs to make any changes necessary, if at all. There have been a few fixes and known issues, but this seems to be what is primarily new with this release:
- The new Camera Library allows you to interact with cameras connected to a BlackBerry 10 device. You can connect to the camera, control the viewfinder, take photos, and record video. The API also provides you read access from different stages in the imaging datapath.
