In the past week we've seen AT&T and Verizon announce their pre-order sales to US consumers. Along with this, it seems that the BlackBerry marketing machine is starting to ramp up a bit for the US television market.
I am a huge fan of the show Top Gear (the UK version, not the crappy US version) and watch it on the BBC America Channel. I've started seeing the BlackBerry "Keep Moving" commercial running on a pretty decent rotation during the episodes aired between 8pm and 10:20pm on Mondays. And it's good placement as Top Gear is the world's most watched factual program according to the Guinness Book of World records. If you haven't seen the commercial, here it is...
I'm happy to see BlackBerry start to kick things off in the US market. I like the style of the commercial but I'd also like to see more up close and personal ads where they take on Android and iPhone devices. I'd really like to see BlackBerry take an aggressive approach to smack the hipster Unicorn game developers right in their Galaxies.
