BlackBerry is known for innovation and today is no exception. Toronto Police Service and Missing Children Society of Canada are introducing 'Milk Carton 2.0' this morning, and BlackBerry is front and center in their integration of the mobile technology for this new take on an old nostalgic way of word of mouth.
During the press conference, which is scheduled for later this morning at Toronto Police Services Headquarters, BlackBerry will be introducing the Missing Children Society of Canada BBM Channel to the 'Milk Carton 2.0' rapid response network. With BBM having 85 million active monthly users around the world, this will be a quick way for Amber alerts and other important information to get out to the masses.
