• BBM Hackathon Event Held by RIM

    I know what you're thinking. What in the world is a hackathon? Well today RIM announced it will be hosting a two-day event which will have developers "receive help to build an app using the BlackBerry® Messenger (BBM™) Social Platform." Smart idea on the part of Research In Motion seeing as how the BBM Social Platform is a huge part of their future.

    The Event will take place between August 11-12, 2011. It will developers a chance to meet and have access to people from Research In Motion, including members of the BBM development and product teams who can help them understand how to better integrate the BBM social platform into their each individual application.

    The Q5 is not planned for a North American release (Mexico might).

    The battery life on the Q5 should be stellar. Same size battery as Q10
