Apparently AT&T Can't Tell Z10 apart from iPhone 5

This is for you conspiracy theorists out there. Apparently AgentBlackBerry's memo didn't reach the AT&T corporate offices. Being in the US and having to wait for a new Z10 at least until mid-March is hard enough as it is, but today, expecting to learn if Big Blue had pinned down a definite date for its launch of the Z10, I tried to reason with an AT&T customer care representative.

A week in after the official BlackBerry 10 launch event held around the world, and AT&T apparently can't tell the difference between a Z10 and an iPhone. They don't even share the same letters for crying aloud! Is this a new form of subliminal advertising? A canned response? An honest mix up? Who knows.

I'm very disappointed and quite frankly thinking I may take my business elsewhere. This lack of knowledge from sales reps is both worrisome and reason to believe the launch of the Z10 on AT&T to be much further out than we think, especially since carriers have had since at least November to test the devices on their networks. I still wish carriers were more transparent as far as what their "rigorous testing" procedures are. Other carriers have at least acknowledge that they are working to push up the launch date, but no word from AT&T makes me lose faith that they actually care about their customers, but maybe I've been spoiled by the exellent treatment I've received from the BlackBerry reps overall.
