• 4G LTE PlayBook to Launch by Month's End

According to an unknown tipster who leaked the above image to MobileSyrup, the elusive 4G LTE PlayBook will launch to Bell and possibly other Canadian carriers as early as the 31st of July with the hefty pricetag of $549.95. Seems quite steep, but surely carriers will offer subsidies or other price reductions with subscription to data plans. We can take this price to be a MSRP and expect RIM to have a press release available to confirm the above information.

It came to no surprise that the specs are in line to what we previously reported back in May.

    • 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600,
    • 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4G LTE (and HSPA+),
    • OS 2.0,
    • 1GB RAM,
    • 5MP rear camera that shoots 1080p HD videos,
    • 3MP front-facing camera,
    • 4800 mAh battery
