As of Saturday, May 21, 2011, US Presidential hopeful Herman Cain officially announced his candidacy to run for the office of President of the United States. Herman Cain is an American businessman, political activist, columnist, radio host from Georgia, and apparently a BlackBerry Bold 9000 user!
The picture seen above is taken from a YouTube video of Cain sharing some first-hand accounts of racial discrimination as he describes the experience of sitting behind the white/black demarcation on buses. He also talks about the experience of taking turns with his brother, standing watch as each took a drink from the "white" side of a segregated water fountain in a department store. Cain also explains that he does not embrace the concept of the "African-American." He says, "When people try to label me, I very quickly point out that I am an American first, black second, and I'm a conservative. So, I'm an ABC."

At the event, she signed autographs for the first 200 fans who purchased the new Blackberry tablet or pre-ordered her new album 'LOVE?'. She then sent out tweets to her 1.5+ million twitter followers letting them know where she was going to be promoting the PlayBook, which created quite a stir and she had to exit out the back entrance to avoid the building mob of fans. You can see the tweet she sent out by going to her official Twitter page. Did you make it to the event?
