This is possibly one of the coolest things I have seen in a very long time and the best part about it is it's a BlackBerry exclusive. The above video is about a new app that The Astonishing Tribe has decided to show off at Mobile World Congress 2012 today. This app, which currently has no name, enables multiple PlayBooks to, in essence, be aware of each others locations when they are nearby and share files between them. A perfect idea for businesses, large and small alike. In this example, we can see how two PlayBook interact with one another and how even five of them can integrate together in a way.

The document sharing app enables its users to share by dragging and dropping files or simply "power swiping" them to an external display (like a projection screen; etc). The UI is gorgeous and the simplicity of this makes any BlackBerry user just so excited to know it's coming.

Moreover, we know that BlackBerry 10 will be heavily influenced by TAT UI design and when are shown what it is possible, one can only imagine what they aren't showing us. Simply amazing. Check out another video below.

SwiftKey Keyboard Used In BlackBerry Playbook OS 2.0 Update

When RIM decided to go all out with tweaking PlayBook OS 2.0, they seem to have called for the help of SwiftKey, one of the most popular third-party Android keyboard developers, to tweak their keyboard.

How do we find out about this? Well, SwiftKey has openly discussed several Easter Eggs bundled in its autocorrect system: If you type in “Ben”, you'll see the first suggestion is “Medlock,” the SwiftKey’s CTO. It is to be noted that the keyboard adapts to your writing styles over time. If your name is also Ben, and you constantly enter your last name, it will replace “Medlock” at some point with your last name.

Let's hope to see the split-screen thumb SwiftKey keyboard in a future OS 2.0 update!

How To Sideload Android Apps On The BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0

    2. BlackBerry PlayBook

The release of PlayBook 2.0 brought so many new features to the PlayBook. Perhaps one of its best features is its ability to run Android apps. This is a feature that many have been waiting a long time for. Unfortunately many of these apps have not made it into BlackBerry App World yet. This could be for many reasons, part of the issue is the amount of time it takes to get an app approved. RIM is notorious for a lengthy app approving process.

In the meantime, there is another way to get all of these nice apps on to your PlayBook. This method is called "sideloading". It requires Android apps that have been properly converted from their native .APK files to .BAR files; to be sideloaded using a third party tool.
