Need for Speed: Undercover for PlayBook received a slight update jump from v2.1 to v2.2! Check your updates on your PlayBook and get updated. No change log on the update, so make sure to let us know if you notice anything new or different.

Another cool game has just hit App World for the PlayBook. Filled With Monsters utilizes the PlayBook's accelerometer to control the monsters that you create.

The objective: Press and hold to create MONSTER. It will continue to grow. Avoid human warriors. They are able to kill the monsters but only during growth process. Each level has its own goal. Read the task carefully before you play. Use accelerometer and monsters with special powers wisely. If you run out of MONSTERS or time it's GAME OVER.

The game is pretty addicting and you'll definitely find it entertaining. The cool thing is there's a free version (which everyone loves) and a paid version of the game available. Let us know what you think about Filled With Monsters!

I have actually always wondered about this. I have wondered what are the top selling apps that App World has to offer. I mean we've all kind of had some ideas but never really known for sure. Well with App World's 3rd birthday happening, BlackBerry has decided to reveal their top five selling apps of all time on App World, and the results may or may not surprise you.

Interesting to see that two out of the top five are apps that control the LED on BlackBerry smartphones. Also interesting to note that Angry Birds, a PlayBook app that can only reach around 1 million PlayBook owners, grabbed the top spot on this list. This to me, definitely shows how PlayBook owners are definitely willing to spend more money on those fancy apps/games that we all want from other OSes. I can bet that in no time thought we'll also see more PlayBook apps (can you say Blaq) creep up to the top five.

Rubicon Mobile has just released Great Little War Game for the PlayBook. This awesome game combines some sick graphics with some pretty interactive and addicting gameplay. You can either play solo or with others which makes this game that much more fun.

Like the description in App World says, "it's one of the best strategy games ever made." In my opinion, it is well worth the price tag of $4.99 as I have yet to put it down since I bought it and probably wont for the rest of the night. My favorite feature from the description: "Absolutely no birds or zombies."
