It seems every Canadian carrier is releasing the new BlackBerry Bold 9900 & Torch 9810 this week. SaskTel tweeted yesterday that they'd start selling the devices as early as today. No pricing has been announced yet, but you can be certain that the pricing will be similar to Bell, Rogers & Telus.
A BlackBerry Bold 9900 was spotted on display at a Carphone Warehouse in the UK yesterday. This comes a few days before most carriers in UK & USA have planned to released the device. It is unclear at this time if it's already for sale at this store or if the display was prematurely put up.
Are you excited for BlackBerry's UK release of OS 7 devices?
If you've noticed recently that Koodo was selling the BlackBerry Curve 3G for a no-contract price of $150, you probably wondered if this was foresight to new things to come. My Canadian brethren, you'll be excited to know that's you can now purchase the BlackBerry Bold 9900 & Torch 9810 from Bell. The pricing seems on par with what Rogers is selling the devices. I was unable to find any of these devices in my local Bell store, but I'm quite certain that the big box retailers have a good quantity of them in stock.

Fellow Canadian friends, Rogers has raised the bar once again & become the first Canadian (& worldwide) carrier to officially release the BlackBerry Bold 9900. A few details of RIM's first QNX smartphone have leaked out, and it looks like the release for this device may be delayed right out of the gate. RIM is famous for their device battery life, and unparalleled device security. However, RIM has had to delay native email support for its first QNX device, the Playbook, because it did not play well with BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Rewriting it's Enterprise software has proven a challenge, and integrating a smartphone with QNX would be even more challenging.

We don't have any solid dates as of yet, but a leaked screen shot from the Verizon Wireless system shows the training material. As soon as we get word on some official dates, we'll be sure to pass them along.

With RIM's new lineup of OS7 devices, none of them seem to be a refresh to a previous OS6 device. None, except for the BlackBerry Torch 9810. This device has an updated VGA display, more fluid UI & overall quicker response to keystrokes. When compared to the Torch 9800, the screen resolution is the first thing that you'll notice, followed by the crisp, vibrant colors.
Here is our first hands-on video of the BlackBerry Bold 9900. This device is surely a great flagship device for the new OS7. Very smooth, fluid, sleek. Comparable in size to the Bold 9000, this device is the thinnest BlackBerry yet.
Yesterday we had the opportunity of attending BB7FanNight, the first media event where the new line BlackBerry OS7 devices were displayed. This Torch 9860 video is the first of many videos showing a walkthrough of the new line of devices.
