Thread: Zeemote JS1 Gaming Controller

Zeemote has a new product that will take gaming on your BlackBerry to the next level. You'll be able to do everything that your trackball does. Scroll menus, play Brick Breaker, etc. It has a thumb stick, along with four action buttons. It comes with software that you will need to use to have control on ”all mobile games” compatible with BlackBerry. And you get over a whopping 50 hours of use with it! It'll be available over the summer. No word on any kind of pricing, but it will include a free Gameloft title in the bundle. And it will also be included in some upcoming device combos.

Personally I think it's nice to see this kind of stuff coming out. Aside from the fact that it means more average consumers will be tempted by BlackBerry phones since they'll be able to enjoy games more, if it's reasonably priced it would also be handy to have for those who's trackballs die out until they can replace their trackball, or if needed, the phone.
