Terrible syncing, are there any solutions?

Since day 1, I have the same issue with all versions of os, official and now leaked 10.2. I am daily losing contacts while tripling and quadrupling others. For the most part it is not much of an issue.. Just a huge pain in the ass having to restore. The BIG problem is losing appointments, birthdays, and reminders. I have my phone synced to Outlook, Yahoo, Google, but in the past month I've missed 5 appointments.....my loyalty to BlackBerry is costing me dearly. Has anyone experienced this and if so, any solutions? Thanks

Sorry to hear about your issues. I have not had any of your described issues personally, but I've heard from a few who have. The best I have for you is to check your sync settings and check your settings in the contact and calendar app.

Disclaimer: I create all my calendar appointments and new contacts on my device and they sync perfectly with my desktop. I've never tried it the other way.
    BB then, now, forever!

You are cross syncing with too many clients. There are disastrous issues with syncing to to many sources, cut down the number of clients, or circle the sync, ie, try to sync to google, then have google sync to outlook, then outlook to yahoo, etc.

I have had a similar issue but it was because I was not checking to see which service my contacts and appointments were going into. Basically I set the default app and calendar to and when ever I created something I pull down to see which service it was going into.

The other issue was the local contacts. New contacts and some edited contacts seem to always get created in there and if unlinked they show as duplicates. I occasionally Clear Local Contacts to stop that. But most importantly I pull down to ensure I'm in the right service.
