It has been less than a week after BlackBerry OS 10.1 officially launched worldwide. And now, we've got leak 10.1.0.1880 comes upon on. I've been running this leak virtually problem free for a few days now. No bugs detected, but there has been no battery improvement speak of. Others are decrying huge leaps in battery life, unfortunately I don't have the same experience.
Looks like it was a maintenance release, but the fixes are too minuscule for me to detect.

I upgraded to 10.1.0.1880 last Saturday after my service provider still hadn't pushed the official 10.1 os, I've not had any negative issues only positive but I don't know what was included on the official release. My big asks from the upgrade were a fix for Gmail calendar synch issues, individual tones for each email address and improved battery life although I had this covered already by selecting a single network ie 2G or 3G not allowing the phone to constantly bounce between the two.
All of the above were met so as far as I'm concerned my Z10 is perfect all I need now is either a decision on BB10 for the Playbook or an improvement on the Bridge and I will be Happy.
I would Definitely advise upgrading to the leaked 10.1.0.1880 it hasn't caused me any problems
