Question Battery Life On The BlackBerry Z10

With the U.S. launch of the BlackBerry Z10 well underway. I thought it would be a great time to gather some information from other fellow Z10 owners regarding its battery life. Frankly, its not that great. I have heard from numerous people that their Z10 devices barely make it through the day. I consider my self a power user. While I do play games and listen to music, most of my time is spent reading and replaying to messages. However, I too experience poor battery life I would like to know your experience.

To help gather as much information as possible please indicate whether you consider your self a power user, a casual user, or something in between. Thanks.

First of all, Yes. I think I'm a power user. I have 3 running email accounts, 6 BBM Groups, 200 BBM contacts (100 of whom I contact on a regular basis) and another 100 contacts for phone, texting and so on. I had a 9800/9900/9981 before, and on these devices I managed to get abt 10-12 hours with very low usage.
My device is a white STL 100-001 Z10 on 10.0.10.648 (10.0.1082), which I usually keep running on the 2G+3G network mode and try to use WiFi wherever I can as it is said to be more energy efficient for data usage than the mobile network.
Most used features are the browser, music player, camera,a few news apps, the hub (BBM, texts, Whatsapp, Mail) and the phone, though not very often. Oh, I also tweet. With the background brightness set to about 50%, I'm getting a whopping 13hrs maximum, if I keep track of the display usage which seems to be the battery killer #1 on this beauty. Most of the time I'm satisfied with the 9-11 hrs I get. Interestingly, I found the Z10 to consume significant less battery if the activation from standby via gestures is turned off.
I hope this says enough about my usage to draw conclusions, just my 2 cents :P
The BB people I've talked to abt the battery life said it'll get better with 10.1 in May....

I've also noticed that certain apps can have a very dramatic affect on battery consumption. Especially apps that are always pushing notifications.

It's been hard for me to gauge the battery life on my Z10. I'm almost always near a charger (work, home, car) and my habit has always been to plug in my BlackBerry's whenever I can. So today, I'm giving it a true all day test. I'm topping it off now and as this beautiful Easter Day progresses, I'll see just how long it'll go.
