Thread: APN Setting?

hey guys
for some strange reason, my z10 isn't picking up my sim which i took out of my 9900 and cut to fit into the z10
i cant change my apn

i called my carrier here in trinidad, and even they are recognizing the new device and pin (i can use the phone normally through wifi)

any ideas?

Have you tried rebooting the device?

You need to get a micro sim card. There is no telling what damage that card from the 9900 may have taken when it was cut to fit.

got the sim changed, mobile provider said that the systems they have can't facilitate the z10 yet.

Thanks for the update. Let us know if you decide to wait for the mobile provider or go with another one.

as it stands right now, i don't know what to do...

i like the z10, but not sure if i can wait ... they don't know when they will be ready for bb10

i ended up with a stl100-2 and it's not compatible with our 4g network in trinidad, some users have said that their stl100-1 / 100-3 work perfect with only 4g coverage and not edge

if the apn could change i would get data, but it's greyed out

Just an update, they finally launched the z10 last tuesday and data plans are there.
However a week before the launch someone told me to take a 4g BIS plan with my provider and it would work, which is strange because this 100-2 will never get 4g in my country.

The phone began receiving data with the 4g plan, it doesn't work with the leaked 10.1 however... will just have to wait for the official
