Thread: Notifications in Hub

After the recent OS update the notifications in hub have dissappeared. I checked the hub>settings>Hub management but there is no option to turn on/off notifications (Ex: App updates, OS updates, ect). which was available before the update. can any one please confirm the same. do u think BB removed this option in the latest update or am i missing something.

PS: also did the 5 swipe from top right corner to reset the hub, batter pull, but still cant see any notifications optin in the hub.

I see calls and visual voice mail under Hub Management settings. Otherwise, if you go to Settings... Notifications... you'll see more options.

Is that what you are getting at?

@joejerde no. what i meant was earlier when ever there was an app update it used to show in the hub. and there was an option to include these notifications in the hub. but now i dont see these notifications in the hub and also in hub management there is no option to turn it on.

Gotcha. My app updates don't show in the hub until I search for updates in BB World. Never automatically.

@joejerde no my problem is different. even after i search manually for updates in BBworld they still dont show up in the hub. not only app updates, the notifications section in the hub has gone completely now. i think i will report it to redington, BlackBerry official service center in India, when i get time.

Have you tried resetting the Hub by swiping down 5 times from the top right corner of the screen?

yes i did reset the hub also batter pull. Today i was checking my sisters Z10. in her phone when i swipe from left to right in the hub, i could see options for hub, notifications, BBM, ect...

but in my Z10 only for hub,BBM,ect... notifications is missing. also when i added her in the games app (Scoreloop) she got a notification in the hub. but nothing showed up in my Z10. not sure what is the probelm. not a major issue but i m wondering what am i missing.

@joejerde yesterday i finally got some time to reload the software on Z10. and noow i have my notifications back in the Hub probably the first time there was an error while loading the latest update.

Nice. Looks like you experienced a little OS glitch. It happens.

Just reset the Hub. Everything will be fine again.
