Thread: Z10 not working

my z10 STL100-1 I did a security wipe on it but along the line my phone went off,since den its showing me 2 connet 2 d system,which I did,but its still not working,I tried updating online which is saying no update found...pls help me oo

So a couple questions for you...

Have you tried updating via the web on BlackBerry's update webpage here?... BlackBerry - Software Updates - New Update Software for BlackBerry Smartphones - US
Make sure that you are using the Firefox browser on a PC computer in order to check for updates.

Have you tried connecting to BlackBerry Link and updating that way?

Good news is that your phone is still turning on. If you still can't get it to update, stay tuned because we have a leaked OS coming today for your device which should get it up and running for sure.

Did any of it work? If not, just download this leaked OS and run the exe and plug in your device... BlackBerryOS.com - Leaked: OS v10.0.10.648 For BlackBerry Z10 STL100-1/Dev Alpha

It should automatically begin to update and your devices LED should turn green. Then just wait for it to finish and your device to reboot. Good luck.

Here is a more detailed how to install directions...

To install: 1. Download the file and unzip it. 2. Connect your device via USB to your Windows computer and run the install file. 3. Press the power button till your device shuts off and wait for about 7-8 mins. The install process will wipe, reset, and then boot up your device with the new OS.
The install progress will show in the install loader window, and at some point you may see a green LED turn on.
Just remember, this is for STL100-1 model only.
