Make sure it is 480x360 for your BlackBerry Bold 9780.
Just because forum engine distorts pictures...

Do u see differences between this two screenshots?
Nope.
I opened up both on 2 different tabs going side by side several times.
no differences...
if there is any differences it the app showing one 43% and the other picture 63% that is it, but the quality between both wallpaper is none.

I actually did notice the difference actually. I find this very interesting.
My next question for you now is, how do u get it to look normal again? What do you have to do?

U r really doesn't see differencess? I wrote the same problem in polish BB forum and there my friends see that the quality of both wallpapers is other, but they didn't find the solution. To have a good quality wallpaper, set it after reset again.
A solution will be found my friend![]()
Strange as heck... here is the wallpaper as viewed from my phone, a Torch 2 9810.
Here is the picture as my wallpaper on my Torch 2
I really have no idea why this picture does this specifically. It looks different on different devices when it's stretched out and when it's not stretched out. All I can think of it's a problem with the actual image and how our phones view them. As for the battery pull issue, I have no clue why restarting your phone could make the image look different.
Again I ask, what do you do to make the image look normal again? Do you have to reset it again?

The BlackBerry Bold 9780 has a display size of 480 x 360 pixels, 2.44 inches (~246 ppi pixel density) Jash
The BlackBerry Torch 9810 has a display size of 480 x 640 pixels, 3.2 inches (~250 ppi pixel density) AgentBlackBerry
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 has a display size of 640 x 480 pixels, 2.8 inches (~286 ppi pixel density) grimreaper
As AgentBlackBerry has quoted,That is the only answer I can think of Jash, as you can see above, I have posted your display size, and compared it to the Torch 9810, and Bold 9900, every phone will show an image differently due to the size of the actual picture, and the device's phone model. It looks different on different devices when it's stretched out and when it's not stretched out. All I can think of it's a problem with the actual image and how our phones view them.
I found this wallpaper in Google search "blackberry wallpapers". I don't remember the web site i downloaded from.
to make the image look normal again after reset i set the wallpaper again from my wallpapers.
JT, the wallpaper is stretched out because the Torch 2 has a bigger pixel aspect ration than the wallpaper size.

Jash, the wallpaper on your device is being affected by something causing the ability for the image to dither properly, which is why you see a more break up of colors. I believe this may just be OS related and could be solved by using a different OS version. I have uploaded the image into photoshop and made a few tweaks.
Try and download the wallpaper below and see if it still happens...
