to unlock your Blackberry Torch 9860 you will need the unlock code.
When a SIM Card from another carrier in inserted you will be asked to enter the MEP unlock code... if anyone that has a Blackberry Torch 9860 is not able to use the unlock code by the simple method there are another way that can be found here:
