Thread: question about Tour, PRL and 5.0.0.230

when i look in the help screen (#4357* send) on my tour it shows the current PRl as 0 (zero). when i open Manage Network Connections, BB key> Update preffered list. it instantly reboots my phone and when it's done booting the PRL still reads 0

I'm on Sprint with OS 5.0.0.230

anyone else seen this? is it with all 5.0.0.230 or is it Tour specific? or is it something related to Sprint?

Folks.. This is a bug in the 5.0 os. The PRL will reset to 0 if you do a battery pull. Though the phone seems to save the settings from the PRL even though it says 0. There is no way to avoid it, if you are on 5.0 you have it.

Now with that said. i have a hybrid prl pushed to me and I have done a battery pull. So my PRL is 0 but I still have the same service I had when it was 65048. so if it goes to 0 after you have updated the phone still stored the PRL settings

It had been previously thought this was a Verizon issue alone. Obviously not.

correct it is any 5.0 build non carrier specific. Like I said though the phone seems to save the proper settings even though it says 0

Thanks Ep! I'm missing my 5.0 fix

My Tour also said 0 as I'm on 5.0. I was still able to update my PRL to 51611 and it says that.

I just didnt the same and my PRL is 51611 as well and I am using 5.0
