Thread: NEW here ! Need some advice

i have a touch pro atm ( 16 replacements ) they said ( sprint ) wil replace my Touch pro with the Touch pro 2 what they did not tell me is ITS ON BACK ORDER

and truthfully im worried ill have the same troubles with the TP 2 that i did with tp1


im asking is the Tour a upgrade or downgrade from the touch pro

remember u r getting into a new worls.. the tp is win ased and a bb is a diff mule all together.. it is more reliable and so far seems to be less swap outs from the initial release of the device.. i am a tour owner and i am happy with it.. running a new hybrid and all the themes and mods its a great phone. u came to a bb community we r all gonna tell u do it.. but if u can wait the 97xx is on the way out also something to think about if not then i say tour is solid go for it

I think the responses here will be a little bias

I have used WinMo units in the past and have to say the BlackBerry has a much better OS all around. I am a Storm owner but I have played with several Tours and I have to say that I really like the device. So my opinion is that the Tour would be an absolute improvement.

I'd say anything to get away from windows would be an upgrade, but then again i'm Linux biased, and love my berry, and discourage the use of anything by M$, and ok i'll stop now...

yea i knew i would get a kinda 1 sided reply's this replacement will not extend my current contract i love to learn new things

and i think the Tour would be a great for you. Blackberry has lots to offer and you will need to take baby steps lol. but with guys like me and the hole community you will be a true addict in a few months. now i would say this. if you like to touch your phone i recommend the Storm2 when its released. should be all you ever need in a phone.:1244:
