Yeah, I tried everything including two other computers on our network. My wife downloaded the 2.9meg file at home in 2 seconds she said and emailed it to me then the install completed. I can only assume there was something in that file that the corporate firewalls did not like.

Anyway, I am good now and since it is released on the site I won't have that problem again.

Now that Sprint has released it on BlackBerry.com, I would recommend that you download the OS file that way, rather than through DM. Click the link below to download the file. You will need to unzip it then install.

Google Maps GPS works - CONFIRMED!
Radio also does not drop calls!

But my BIG question is, were the updates done on a ROM or software level? I mean, if I decided to load in OS 5.0 or something else, would my Google Maps GPS stop working again, and would I start dropping calls again?
