Thread: Issue with OS5.0.0.230

Hey dudes new here,

hmmm i have an issue with the OS5.0.0230.
I can't acces the facebook App, hmm the media folder doesn't say "media" it say's net_rim_bb_file_explorer.media.

and another issue i have is that I can't acces the memory card via my PC.

help please

Do you have the most recent Version of Facebook??

the most recent versions that works with .230 is version 1.6.0.22 and you should be able to get it through appworld

Been there, done that, a reinstall of .230 solved my issues.

yeah i know its a leaked OS

first i have a problem with my BBM (sorry if this is in the wrong forum). i tried to update my bbm from the leaked 5.0 version to the official one and although it says its been downloaded successfully i cannot find it on my phone.
secondly i downloaded the DM for mac and tried to downgrade my OS from 5.0.0.130 to solve my bbm problem but when i try to load the application the DM keeps saying that it can't connect to the update server. please help!!!

also does the official bbm work with the os .230?

Tammy I would go into your applications and completely remove BBM from your device then redownload and do a battery pull.

Yes the official BBM 5.0 works with .230

Also what I would do is a complete wipe with BB swiss army knife and then reinstall using the app loader.

Also, If your still on 5.0.0.130 you need to upgrade to .230 it's a world of difference from the earlier 5.0 builds that leaked!

Reinstall using this method HERE

The facebook icon that loads on your OS in the applications folder should take you to the download page - that should work fine. That's how I got mine.

Hmmm facebook app still doesn't work, when i try to open it, it says something about the protocol isn't supported by this handheld.

okies dude, I have resolve all the issues I had.
Everything is working OK right now.
But i think there's on error in the theme (for those who have sprint). The media folder doesn't say media with the sprint theme.

Facebook App works.
but I lost all my BB messenger contacts cause i couldn't restore the backup cause for some reason when I restore the backup my blackberry map will stop working and the phone gets some issues.
