    Tour OS 5.0.0.230 saying 3G on Verizon...

    My blackberry says 3G instead of 1XEV... Is this normal on 5.0.0.230?

    1xx? You mean 1XEV as I still get 1X at times when I assume it doesn't have 3G connection or 1XEV connection... THIS IS CONFUSING... I was like WAIT 3G... -Checks sim slot- lol.

    Yeah it freaked me out when I first loaded .191 :lmao: it has really grown on me along with the blackberry symbol

    That's weird that it only says it on Verizon...wonder why that is? I have sprint and it doesn't say that...on another note I was able to get telenav to work somehow on my phone with 5.0 running, although it is not all the time...caught me by suprise.

    I have a theory on this. I believe on the unlocked storm running on other networks you arent getting full 3G.. anyone confirm this?

    The Storm's WCDMA 3G does not support US 3G bands (T-Mo/ATT)
