Thread: Any newer OS than .230 leaked yet for the Tour?

Has there been any leak on the latest OS 5.0.0.236 yet? If not any idea when that might happen? And is there anything major changed over .230?

Not from what I hear. The changes are minimal no need to hold your breath anyway .230 is a great build.

I was holding out for 236. Just installed 230 yesterday. Kinda mad that I waited so long...

I can confirm that .230 is a GREAT build. I have had no issues, but I would still load .2XX

Yeah folks, no point in waiting. .230 is a great build and well worth upgrading to.

We also have absolutely NO idea when (or if) .236 is gonna leak. Why deprive yourself of OS5 goodness in the meantime??

Shazam does not work on this build, correct? Plus, I am on Sprint and I am waiting for the mythical 4.7.1.57 build I keep hearing about to fix google maps.

Yes I would have to agree with you. I have been using .230 for a week now with no issue's or problems. Everything works and it seems pretty stable. I was just curious if there were any changes in .236 that would make it better than .230. But if it is just minimal I will stick with .230. Thanks all for your input.:1244::1244::1244:

My only complaint with 230 is that the reception doesn't seem as strong as the 4.7 builds. I've updated the PRL but it still doesn't get a signal whenI'm at work and the older build got a weak signal. I'm hoping newer builds will help this.

has anyone been able to use Google Maps Latitude with the .230 build?? It just errors out for me when I try logging into my gmail acct.

My bluetooth sux on .230 and my calendar takes forever to open ever since i installed this build.

Yeah I use Google Maps and Latitude with no problems on .230 along with several different GPS and weather programs I have tried. So far just about every app has worked without any major problems.

Welcome to JP.

In your reearch :22: lol I think you'll find that meterberry wont work as well as it should. There is a known bug with the new 5.0 series that will not allow an updating icon to update.

I also believe that quickpull is having the same type of issue. Back to the good old fashion battery pull

Too funny! :haha: I was having many issues with .230 but now that most of my quirks are wrinkle out I'm absolutely liking this O.S.

Or Left Alt + Right Shift + Del = soft reset. Questionable whether as 'effective' as the proven 60 sec. battery pull, but easier if feeling lazy.

how about the 5.0.0.242??? On 5.0.0.230 the media player keeps restarting my songs half way through... sucks when im on a run kills all my momentum hahaha...Sorry to put this OS down, its good enough...I guess I just need a newer build!
