Thread: Working Telenav in OS 5.0.0.230 Thanks to CodyBB / Sprint users rejoice!

All credit goes to CodyBB from the CB.com fourms all I did was find an alternate working link & find a fix for the people who received messages requiring payment.

**UPDATE*** If you are getting a message that says you need to pay your account needs to be re registered. There are a few ways to do it. The quickest way is to pair your phones bluetooth with your macbook or computer. Go to options -> Advanced options -> GPS and changed from device GPS to your computer. By doing this you trick sprint-nav and you can open the sprint-nav application to register. You will need to enter your first name, last name & email address. After you register just close the app and reopen the telenav version that told you to pay, you will notice the message is gone and all is well. Enjoy!

GPS Nav

when you go to that sight on your "MOBILE" phone browser you will not see your phone listed that's ok click on the samsungM610 and it starts the download for your tour (maby its hidden for a reason)

I have confirmed that it works with the Sprint 9630 and I would recomend the download for anyone who cant live with sprintnav / telenav.

:1244: Nice find Jpatterson350. Although I got lucky and my sprint nav-gps-locator and all my other apps work on .230 I know this find will help out alot of others.

mfg: Your sprint-nav works on .230??? Are you running a hybrid or just the plain .230? I guess I should try sprint-nav again!

My Sprint Nav worked fine just after I loaded it. I think once I closed it out and tried running it again, it says my GPS is turned off, and then shuts down. My GPS works fine with BB Maps. I have Nav version 2.1.01
