    Myspace Icon Gone.

    My myspace icon is gone. Running os 4.7.1.40 latest myspace.

    Its still installed and it is in my applications list. The icon is not hidden (checked everywhere). I've tried reinstalling it doing a battery pull and standing on one hand and chanting "MYSPACE ICON APPEAR"... None of it worked.

    same there..my friend twitter app started doing the same thing today... its not carrier they're with tmobile and got the new curve...

    at one point of time today it (myspace icon) showed up as an different icon stating something about (myspace archive)... attempted to run/launch still no success...

    i mostly use facebook, but still need myspace to be fully operational...

    if anyone stumble into the myspace fix please post and share..TIA

    I saw a few people with issue on another site... no fix listed. this may be an issue with the new myspace.

    have you looking in your applications, and download folders? Also have you checked under you applications list to see if there are 2 versions there?

    Just found out that the 4.7 software on the tour is not compatible with myspace to work. So it can only operate as an alert through your email and you just have to go on myspace through your browser.

    If you run any 5.0 os myspace app works like normal.

    Where did you hear this? I'm running 4.7 and My Space is working fine.

    Apparently RIM is aware of the issue and are working to correct it. Obviously no time frame for a fix, but at least they have acknowledged it. From what I am reading they are reverting back to the previous release (speculation). I spoke with a Verizon tech support rep a few minutes ago who also confirmed it. Hopefully they will get this corrected soon!

    I read on another website that you have to download from myspace.com to get the bug-free icon.. A couple of people reported back with total success.. I will try before I goto work.. Just spreading the good news on this matter..!
