How did you get a NEW Tour after 30 days?
What did you guys do or say to get your Tour replaced after 30 days for a new one at the store?
I am having massive Trackball problems and its annoying. Also, what is the date of the new batch that was shipped with the "fix" ?
Here are the situations that I have seen
1- you call up for a replacement and VZW tells you that they have no refurb's in stock so they will send you out a new one.
Below is what I did:
2- I called VZW and told them it was a known issues with the trackball on the Tour and how could they guarantee me that the refurb would not have the same issue. I know they got fixed models in stock and I wanted one of those.

Bryan, did you get a new Tour in a BB Tour box?
I dread getting a refurb since its only been about 40-45 days, so i might have to call them up and give that a try.

Yep sure did brand spanking new box I have found that being nice but persistent with VZW will always when my way. Let them know you know about the new units that were shipped with the trackball fix as well.

I don't remember the details specifically but if you send back 3 tours in a 1 month period you should qualify for a new one. Might give that a try
