    The Mystery of the Red Light

    For some reason I have a flashing Red LED. I have no messages, no sms, no mms, no calendar appts, no tasks, no FB, no nothing...I can't figure out what it is? Anyone know if it flashes if it's unhappy???

    Are you running 5.0.0.191? I was having this issue on 191. I downloaded the led reset tool and that solved the light issue.

    Also a battery pull should fix it if not just download the led reset app its free

    Is it flashing continuous or for a minute or so? I have berrybuz & have it setup that it flashes whenever I don't have data signal. It flashes for a minute after I hang up from a call.

    have you tried a batt pull? and what 3rd party apps you have on your phone

    I did the battery pull and it came back. I installed Berry Buzz and it's gone. I have no idea what I had set to notify me.

    I don't have a weather app on the phone yet. The only 3rd party apps are FB and UberTwitter which isn't even configured yet so it wasn't even running. Heck if I know. But Berry Buzz has fixed it

    Mine would do the same thing after receiving a voicemail. Even after checking and deleting the voicemail,the LED would flash for awhile afterwards,and it still does - no matter what OS version I have,it is just something that has always been there since I've had the phone. I use the LED reset app.

    this is the exact reason we released LEDReset... to stop what like to call the phantom LED... app is tiny and has one purpose reset the LED, which comes in handy more often then not.

    especially when u wanna ignore someone lol
