Thread: Nuked tour (fourth)

WELL WHAT A HASSLE, i am going on my fourth tour tomorrow morning.
every time i delete a app by going into the options/apps/ and go to delete it after i hit yes to reboot now and it goes into reboot mode,after it comes out i get a software reboot error message. any clues folks, i am stump. i have decided to go and get the storm tomorrow. i paid $319.00 +++ for the 1yr update.

What apps have been giving you trouble?

Well when i went to delete the my verizon app thats when it went into nuke mode and every other time i rebooted the tour is when it went nuked?

I would suggest reloading the OS, and not doing a switch device wizard or restore from your 83xx to the tour. Instead, do a sync for your contacts and other PIM, and redownload your apps OTA.

I would bet the issue is continuing because it is with either the device switch or backup file. also make sure you are running BBDM 5.0, the tTur is very tempermental or does not work with 4.7. You can get it here if you dont have it, vzam.net/blackberry

But if you've already decided to go with the storm, it is more stable with older apps and hybrid OS's.

I actually went from 8330 to the 9630, and then decided to try the 9530 and havent gone back since.

if youre needing a work horse bb dont go with the storm, its more of a media phone.. just stick with a tour its the best berry out at this moment

Are you running the stock Verizon OS, a hybrid or a leaked version of 5.0?

i went to vzw and dl the 5.0 os. i tried to load bit.ly/1nMFRX Last nite and it would not let me
