    2 weird things after upgrading to 191

    Anyone see that if you change auto-complete on text and reboot the device it does not work? You have to go and re-enable auto text for it work. Also I have this email to sqaquincy@rim.net. Even though I have tried to disable bug tracker. Thoughts?

    your device will continue to send emails to quincy...

    you were supposed to uninstall RIM Tools from your PC before you installed the OS to your phone.

    Go to Control Panel to Programs and Uninstall that and reload the OS to your phone.

    oh sh!t really? Do I need to downgrade then upgrade again? damn not smart on my behalf...also I am looking in add remove programs I do not see it...I see internal apps software 5.0 for 9630 thats it

    Next time please read before jumping into things..theres a lot of things on this site that can brick and maybe do worse to your phone... You should deffinitly backup (if needed) then downgrade > then control panel > delete internal Rimm Tools > then reinstall the OS.... Hope everything goes well...

    You shouldn't have to downgrade, just reinstall the OS.

    no need to downgrade first...just uninstall the RIM tools from your PC and then run the Apploader again and reload the device....

    Don't use desktop manager.

    try uninstalling the program from windows, then just run apploader. it may say "NO CHANGES" or whatever but just hit next anyway. thats what i did when i installed in on accident.

    I didnt have the text problem. The reason you have that email is because you didnt remove RIM internal tools. its RIMS beta OS bug tracker.. remove it from your computer in add/remove and wipe/reinstall. I wasnt able to get rid of it when i installed it with .140 accidently by just reinstalling, but if it does work then more power to you.
