Thread: Continue Running Tour OS 5.0.0.191 ?

How many of you are going to continue running the new leak despite issues, i.e. Facebook INOP, etc.?

I took it back off last night in fear LOL...new to this so hopefully it'll get better. I'll just have to buy plenty of underwear

I have been running for 5 days now and I love it. I will admit I don't use facebook or app world so that really wasn't a big deal for me.

The only issue I had was google sync not downloading (website wouldn't recognize the phone), but I installed the cod and it has been working perfectly.

I have had zero problems so far with 191 so far. I like the look of it and it seems to be considerably speedy.
Too soon to tell yet, but I am cool with it so far.

Whats up with the BBM5? no good with this OS? Do I have to go back to the old version? I tried a few different OTA's with it, but it will not show up....Says its in the app list, but no app on my phone - after multiple reboots as well....

I haven't even considered it change OS and give up FaceBook ubertwitter meterberry berryweather BBM 5 orbital theme and all the other apps I have forget about it just for flick scrolling. Sigh it is a tough life lol

Are you using google email with the regular blackberry messages or the google mail app?

i'm thinking seriously about going back to 140...i'm weighing the pros and cons in my head and so far the 191 cons are winning.

Lovin' it only con is FB. BBM 4.7 is ok I will deal with it until someone fixes it.

Running both the Google app itself was fine but it was Google sync (for my calendar) where I had to use the COD files to get it to work

Thanks.. got excited, thought someone figured out how to get 2-way sync with email using google and blackberry messages.

Staying with it until something better comes out or a fantastic hyrid is made

I went back to 140 because sprintnav does not work with the 191 build Once sprintnav and BBM5 works I will upgrade again.

I am really excited for an official release.

I just d/l it tonight and have to decide. I am looking for a solid hybrid to work with for starters.

im gonna keep it.. all the apps i use work. so no need to downgrade.. yet

So far it's a keeper for me. Facebook isn't important to me and I don't have enough contacts using BBM that it's an issue either. I haven't seen anyother negatives yet.
