Thread: Storm to Niagara

Just trying to see how much people love there Storm and who is giving up there storm to get the 9630 Niagara

I will be sorry I love my storm and all but the 9630 looks so much better lol

I couldn't part with my storm after all the OS swaps and other things. It will get better.

lol i was thinking the same thing. ill probably go to the store when it comes out and check it out and if it seems good i might buy it and keep my storm til i get bored of niagara one day lol

I plan on adding the 9630 to my collection. I'm fortunate enough that I don't pay for my phones, so I have the luxury of switching & adding phones when they come out.

I must admit, I'm addicted to this Storm like no other phone I've owned. It's been a lot of fun.

I think RIM has a lot of cool phones coming out in the next year & the 9630 is obviously the next one on the list. Hopefully, the OS is somewhat stable when hits the market.

I noticed in the survey that most people are sticking with the Storm is this because you like it that much or because your locked in to a contract for a year or two. Would you switch t the 9630 if you had the option to do so? Just curious!!!

u can still get the 9630 if your in a contract, just gotta pay full retail price for it, witch sucks...lucky i wish i could get phones free

and also i think most people are sticking with it cause it is a good phone....everyone loved the iphone when it came out and this is better than that IMO....and also for me, the niagara is basically like every other BB in a way, it has that same look to it, that kinda makes them all look the same, but the storm is something like they have never made before

I also will be adding this Niagara to the Plan. Niagara and Storm, how can you go wrong.

I will get the Niagra for everyday use, but keep my Storm to swap out if I feel the need.

I am keeping my Storm because I love playing with the OS's and constantly messing it up and then learning from all of you how to fix it!!!!!!!!

Sometimes I even think I actually know what I am doing!!!!!! but you guys know better!!!!!

Think I'll be right behind you..and I'm definitely keeping the Storm. Soon as the OS catches up with hardware capabilities , It'll be untouchable.

I think I am going to keep my Storm until it runs its course. I love my Storm. I like it more and more every time I use it. That being said, I have fallen in love with the 9630 since the moment i saw it. I still long for a physical keyboard.... but I can't see myself buying the phone outright if I cannot upgrade.

If I wanted the Niagra I would have bought a Bold to begin with.

i love the way the bold looks, alot better then the 83xx and below. the 8900 and the 9000 and the 95xx are the only ones that look good imo. there trying to get away from that bussiness look and go to a more modern clean look which i like. i like the way the storm looks but at the same time its ugly:dunno:
