You need to take it back to Verizon and get a new one, the BBM issue might not be the phones fault, but the other issues are.

Sorry to hear that. OUt of curiosity, take the battery out and look at the sticker behind the battery. Where does it say it was manufactured.

Have you wiped the phone and reinstalled the OS? Just curious what the boot up time would be if you did. I know mine originally was about 3 min but since wiping it is under 2.5min now.

I would take it back Nicky that is unacceptable for any phone.

Mine is in the 3-5 range, as well. I'm with the others, 10 minutes just isn't right. Something has to be wrong with it.

so ive been playing around with the tour.. i deleted bb maps and vvm. and im down to 5:34 boot up.. so just that cut my boot up time in half... im wondering if its the apps? i have
google quick search. google maps. pageonce. viigo. bb weather, a bunch of launchers. pandora. and xtreme labs speed test.
i dont want to delete anything else..

does anyone with vvm and bb maps loaded on there tour still have 3-5 min boot times?

just a thought here but what if you did a handheld wipe including your 3rd parties. Then tried a battery pull

have you experimented with any 3rd parties or themes that didn't work maybe one of them is still hanging around..

There are no themes for the tour so that doesn't come into play. But I am curious as to the handheld wipe.

Nicky would you mind doing a hanheld wipe and choosing the delete 3rd party apps options. And let us know if the boot time is any better?
