im sorry if this is posted i searched for about 20 minutes. can someone please post an ota download link for the stock 4.7.1 bbm im having a ton of problems with the 5.0. please help! thanks in advance

I need the ota for the stock tour bbm. bbm 4.7.1. i already upgraded to the 5.0 on my tour and having major issues with it. i want to downgrade back to the stock ota. if someone has the link to do so that would be great.

i dont believe there is an ota for that.

you would need to delete bbm from your phone and then get the old bbm back on through apploader or DM

Err that's for BBM5. I must have misunderstood what I was reading.

You could do it by putting the OS on your computer (you can DL it from Verizon's site) and then going through DM. Just tell it you want to downgrade BBM and it will do just that part of the OS. Did that with my wife's Tour last night. We're both staying with the 4.7 version now. Too many problems with the 5 version.

Yea I did a device switch from my Curve 8330 which had BBM5.0 but I selected to bring some apps but since I didnt want bbm5 on my tour, I unchecked it from the list which made the tour not have ANY bbm at all.
So I searched for the Sprint OS v4.7 & installed it , checked BBM 4.7 from the list and now its good.

nicky plug your tour in to DM like early stated...click apploader>remove bbm...then shut down DM...reopen and plug your phone in(make sure that bbm5.0 is no where on your computer) it should prompt you to update bbm, if not go back to app loader and find the one that says 4.7 under details

If you haven't downloaded & installed 4.7.1.40 to your Windows box I think you'll have to do that first before you can downgrade as others have posted. Otherwise, you do not have the software for apploader/DM to downgrade to.

glad to hear it... now i jsut wish 4.7 had the ability to load the backups 5.0 made so i could switch on the go wishful thinking...
