    Sprint Smartview and BB Tour Tethering

    Does anyone know if there is a version of Sprintview that will work with the BB Tour for Tethering? ON their website I dont' see the tour as an option when downloading.

    Welcome to BlackberryOS tredn. I apologize no one has answered your post yet. I could speculate that maybe Sprint hasn't updated their software for the Tour yet. Have you called Sprint and asked them regarding this?

    Sprint rep told me that smartview will not support the tour. I have a document from sprint though on how to set up the tour as a PAM. I can email the document to someone/prefer an admin and they can host the document. And actually starting with the tour rim will no longer support smartview

    thanks for the quick replies and the warm welcome. I did engage our rep this afternoon to find out what they intend to do with the smartview tour situation. The SE didn't have an answer so he escalated it within sprint. we'll see if i get the same answer back that you did.

    Setting up the PAM would be great, please let me know if one of the mods can host it.

    On another not, I was able to get smartview working by loading the newest blackberry desktop manager or usb drivers package on top of smartview for those who are interested. I have tested it on XP and Windows 7.

    Using mine successfully with the Smartview software for the Curve. The drivers from DM seemed to have taken care of everything.

    It could also depend on the plan youre using.
