So i am looking for a nice BlackBerry Tour case and found this :-)

I have never been a fan of cases like that so I would not spend the money.

i too am waiting for the otter box.i already ordered one.

Otterbox will be sending me their Tour cases for me to review. Once I get them, I will write up the review for you to read.

I love my otterbox defender case for the storm. I'm gonna wait and see what that looks like for the tour.

im not a huge fan of otterbox they protect the phone like crazy but they just make the phone look ugly

i bought a case at my local verizon store. its a two in one. a belt clip and phone protector

seidio is the way to go. otterbox cases are like a brick. unless your on a construction site daily and throw and or launch your phone across room and or hallways or down flights of steps i think it adds wayy to much bulk

I just joined the site. I received my O'box Defender for my Tour today. As usual it's an excellent case. It does alter the look dramatically. I have had an O'box on my 8830 and 8330. For protection you cannot beat them. But they certainly do not look pretty.

One note about the Defender 9600 series. The charging port is too small. I had to shave my micro USB plug down a bit to get it to fit. I didn't want to remove the O'box every time I need to charge the Berry.

*** The silicone outer wrap was left with too much material against the right side convenience key keeping it pressed all the time. This causes lag and the buttons to become unresponsive. Otterbox has pulled the product from their website as they work on a solution. I removed the shell and shaved about half of the silicone from that portion of the shell. This has resolved the issue for me.

Here is something i have found out since i too bought the otterbox from otterbox.com.. Otterbox is aware of the charger not fitting into the charge slot so they are ordering a new otterbox for everyone that calls in and complains about this and i was told this morning that the new case should be available with in the next week or so. for my troubles they are also giving me a what they call an impact case too. and i get to keep old otterbox too.

Great company they know how to treat customers.

thanks for sharing! I'm a hugh otterbox fan and I have the tour version on it's way. I just emailed my contact at OB to get added to the list.

I'm a paramedic so this case can't show up fast enough because I'm used to having my storm wrapped up in the OB.

If I have nay new news to offer I'll post something when I know!


The impact case is a silicone wrap for the tour it doesnt have the dust and water protection of the defender but it has the shock or bounce protection. I would love for them to throw that in as well!

O'box took care of me the same way they did Buzzdar.

I am waiting to see what case mate going to come out with.
