I have tweetgenius as well and mine is set to update every 5 minutes. I also have the lag (and yes it is annoying) but I believe it is caused with tweetgenius and BBM 5.0. Once I uninstalled BBM 5.0 it was fine then I put it back on and the lag is back. I haven't tried another twitter client to see if it still does it or not, since I like tweetgenius.

Yeah I am just living with it hopefully BGR can come out with an update for it soon. It did help to delete it then reinstall it. I set my updates to 10 min after reading this thread to see if it made any difference and so far it has not.Quote:

I had both of these apps installed as well and started seeing noticable lags in the opening and closing of programs. I wouldn't go so far too say that it is unberable but it is definately an issue of compatibility.
So I put it to the test for several days on several units and the end result was if either of these two were indivisually installed, by themselves, more so meaning that you did not have both installed on the same unit, the Tour functioned perfectly. However when both of these were installed, on every devise tested, there was a noticable lag in opening and closing of programs.
Compatibility is there for both of these two programs to work with the Tour; however compatibility between the two programs themselves is another thing.
From what I can see, and have evaluated, in every instant where the two programs were running in the background at the same time, there was a .16 millisec delay in functioning of the device. Now that's just crazy! :crazy:
Anyways. it's not too much of a problem to uninstall one of the two and see what happens, but for sure there is an issue between the two programs running at the same time. :)

Hmm I don't use zona but I do have maxmem installed. I will try uninstalling that and see if it make a difference.
