It would seem that the Tour had one hell of a first day. Reports put sales between 275,000 to 300,000 sold in just the first day??

Not bad numbers at all :fing02: makes me wonder how many more would have been sold if more people got the ok from VZW on a trade of their storm? Would be cool to see how many storms are now listed on craigs list and Ebay?
Wirelessly posted
Those are some crazy numbers![]()
That would be an interesting number Bryan, I am not sure if it would be as large as we think. How many people have no idea what the potential is. Think about how many people were still on .75 when the new Official OS release came out. How many have nevrer heard of sites devoted to BlackBerry's. Kind of makes you think...
how many tours will be on ebay when storm2 releases?:haha:
I wonder how many more would have sold if Sprint would have had them in store on the 12th like Verizon did????
How does that compare to the latest Iphone?

I was able to pre-order a Tour and got it by noon on Tuesday. By 3 it was packed back in the box and ready to ship out.
#1 - Battery door was way too loose, in fact there was a 1/32" gap around the edge of the door and case.
#2 - The sound was muffled when talking on the phone, and the person on the other end said I sounded muffled to them.
#3 - The lag was past the toleration point.
I called VWZ and told them the problems, and they were great and asked me if I wanted another one. I said NO thank you, and they asked me if I was replacing a phone and I said YES, it was going to replace my STORM. This started a conversation about replacement Storms.
The bottom line is, I am getting my NE2 credit back, and getting a replacement Storm instead. Maybe I'll wait for the STORM2 to come out, if that is going to become a reality.
