Quick easy fix for the Tour battery cover

Everyone is complaining about their Tour battery cover not fitting tightly. There are many 'fixes' out there but I believe I have found the easiest and best one. Thanks to EnvyV07 twitter post who owns ilovemystorm.com, he came up with the best solution, I think and it works great. Simply take 12 pieces of tape, layer them on top of each other and then stick the layers of tape onto the battery and done! Watch the video to see!

Nice video but it is unfortunate that we have to "fix" this issue, it shouldn't be one to start with. I just put my 1600 battery in and it took care of the problem (thanks Pain)

Absolutely Bryan. I took mine back to Verizon today because I was giving it to my wife to update her Curve 8330.

I talked them into it and they gave me a new one. It too is from Mexico and has all the same issues as my review from earlier. She loves it so that is all that matters...I am loving being back on my Storm with .151.

Just received mine today and am not having any of the issues that have been brought up thanks goodness. The battery cover is just the slightest bit loose but it is barely noticeable. I never thought I would say but having a physical keyboard is fantastic. But Pain thanks for all your early reviews on this.

Absolutely. I think it is a great phone, just not for me and my big hands. I am glad you guys are loving yours. My wife could not be happier!:aargh4:

Hopefully someone will come out with a nice, metal aftermarket battery cover.

As noted above, it is pretty unfortunate these conversations are even happening. But then there were, and still are, no shortage of discussions about issues with the Storm--both hardware and software. Not that it makes it 'ok'.

I am missing the big screen...
