I have read that other members mentioning their concerns of the loose battery cover.
In one post a member of BBOS had their device replaced and the issue was resolved. In another instance, Pain Producer, a member at BBOS, used his extended life battery to fill the void.
UPDATE:
Verizon Storm 2, Until 4/29 went to "INCREDIBLE"
Verizon Tour (Wife's)
OS: 9550--5.0.0.607/643 (OOAK w/all the fixes)
OS: 9630--5.0.0.643
Seems very sporadic pain...Some members have posted that their doors are loose as well only to take them back and get an exchange to find that the new unit seems to be fine......I'm curious as to see if we have manufacturing issues like the new storms did.....Remember Canada, Mexico, then later Hungary models all being different in some shape, form or fashion.
Now I'd like to know where our members devices were manufactured. Maybe start a new thread.
you can return it for a new devixce or door maybe...but this is common with some of the new devices, and trust me...internally...with the amount of use these devices get, the door is barely hanging on after a while...we use lots of masking tape or post-it notes to make little cushions inside....
Wow, flash back of the storm...I hope that since you just got this device that you take the time to communicate any issues to your provider before doing any hack job fixes we all took part of with the storm.![]()

Mine seems tight, but it is a very cheap, flimsy plastic cover, so its probably only a matter of time for me.
can't wait to see the complaints when 8520 comes out...lol...if you really want to see a flimsy case...
