Exactly the same story I get. Considering I have been a VZW customer for 7 years I am simply appalled and their attitude. Plus when you have gone through as many Storms as I have it's just adding insult to injury.
I upgraded today from the Storm and lets just say, there are going to be some things I miss. I still find myself touching the screen of the Tour trying select options...
LMAO! When I was playing in the store for like an hour, I still couldnt stop from pressing the screen to navigate. But I was in complete bliss typing on a keyboard again. All this tells me is hurry up and bring on the pluto! lol.
I would, but I have a very short temper. I was just seeing what the reaction would be threatening to cancell, and when I got that answer, I almost did it just for spite. I was so ^%$%# pissed! Like J said, I have been a VZW customer forever, and would cry if my temper got the best of me and cancelled, lol.
How is it that some are eligible for an early upgrade or an upgrade for that matter when they got the storm 6-7 months ago? :dunno:
vzw did some changing of dates for certian customers in certain markets. Most of us are still trying to understand the strategy... anyone that was going to be eligible in the next 6 months in certain markets got bumped to now
It's basically the same across all providers though. Sometimes you get nice reps who'll do it, sometimes you don't and sometimes the provider just locks down what the CSR's can do. My friend works as a CSR at Sprint and in the past he could do whateva he wanted and he always hooked people up as long as their attitude was good. Now he's extremely limited to what he can offer to customers. In the end though, w/ all the consolidations that's happened, even if they lose some customers, in the grand scheme of things, it's not a big loss to the corporation. Still, I suggest those with the will to keep trying to do so as you never know what you'll be able to get. Just keep in mind you're not even a speck in their radar...
