I'm sure all those drooling over the new Tour will be ecstatic over their new device and I will congratulate all as if adding a new member to your family. Now when my new Storm drops, there won't be enough adjectives to describe it. Patience is a virtue...

I agree Michael, I'm in your camp regarding Storm 2.

I just hope RIM doesn't mess this up and release it with the equivalent of .65
Ouch. You had to go there didn't you.

I have a question.... Are we starting with something total new here?

I mean os and application wise..we know its part of the bold family so will 5.0.100 java work on here with tour radio?

What about applications are they the same as a bold or curve?

I sure did SMC, as you can see .65 scarred me for life.

You're questions regarding the Tour and 5.0 OS are good ones. I believe Ealnv would be the best person to address this.

I gotta say this is a very nice device. It'll be a very nice device for CDMA users who don't like/want or fed up with the Storm.

This may be a stupid question, but how do you guys get the tour without being eligible for an upgrade through your provider? Do you pay retail for the phone?

Yeah most people will pay the $489 retail for it. Or not that I recommend because you will lose your number, but add a line get the $299 price -$70 rebate, then cancel your other line.
